Unsung Heroes..Anyone?

Been browsing some local news when i chance upon one interesing one. It does happen , not for always, not at any given circumstances. It doesnt have to be like the one been watch on movies, but it does happen. The catche is the strength and character of the person to think an act without hesitation. On a rational point of view, one could always pull that astounding question. If one will be on Ryan Pamilar shoes, will you be doing the same? One tough question to answer. True test of character could only be known when real life and death situation arise, and sometimes a hero comes out not with the grandeur of a personality. Heroes are born out of whats in their heart. Unselfish heart.

Teenager saves 4 girls from drowning in Kidapawan

A 14-year-old out-of-school youth risked his life to save four of the nine students of Saint Mary’s Academy who were swept away by raging flash floods last Sunday.

Ryan Pamilar, a resident of Purok Guava in this city, said he was refreshing himself in the river when the water level rose. He said the nine girls were busy taking pictures of the surrounding when they were swept by the strong current of flood waters.
Pamilar, who works as part-time packer of the National Food Authority (NFA), said he wasted no time when he saw that the girls were helpless in pulling themselves from being carried away toward the deep portion of the river.

Three girls drowned in the incident, which occurred at the Kidapawan Landmark.
“I did not feel nervous while rescuing the girls. It was only after that I felt my body trembling,” Pamilar said in his local dialect, adding that it saddened him to know that three girls perished in the incident.
